I am curious: Has there ever been lost media involved in this franchise, like a lost episode, a promotional video or photo, or a lost script, something like that?

I have a late question but how come destro was written out immediately in the sequel, like he was in it and cobra commander for some reason left him behind, why?, like I can see maybe christopher eccleston didnt want to play the part, um then just recast? I mean I dont get it.
