At the beginning of the year IDW released G.I. Joe #26 and #27, and Cobra #12 and #13. The publisher then restarted the numbering with new "Season 2" volumes of the series starting with the Cobra Civil War storyline. G.I. Joe #1-8, and Cobra #1-8 were released, as well as the new Snake-Eyes #1-8.
IDW's Infestation storyline with mini-series from their licensed properties, included G.I. Joe: Infestation #1 and #2.
Larry Hama's G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series continued with issues #162 through #173.
