Destro is staggering through an alley in Morocco after a vicious beating. But he has lost his memory! He emerges into the street and is attacked by two thieves who steal his medallion but he hits back when they try to take his face mask. He lies in the street weakened when a girl comes along and tells him to come with her. He is too weak to resist.
Two days later Destro comes to in her house to see the girl - Jenna - and her grandfather Hajid who tell him is healing well. Destro tells them he has forgotten his memory so Jenna suggests calling him "Silver" "for his handsome mask. A hero's garb." After another two days later Destro feels ready to leave but Jenna tells him his wounds are not yet healed. He thinks his body is fine anyway. He takes off his mask and she sees his face, but he quickly restores it. She tells him the mask makes him heroic and in his thoughts he embraces the idea. Suddenly Hajid staggers in, having been fatally attacked in the street by men looking for "Silver" and wearing "the mark of the serpent". Hajid then dies.
In the street Cobra Troopers are attacking stall holders as they continue their search when "Silver" announces his presence. They attack him and he fights back but he finds his anger clouding his judgement and he ends up captured at gun point.
