The Armadillo is a G.I. Joe vehicle from the A Real American Hero series.

The second Armadillo mini-tank was not merely a rehash of the original Armadillo. If anyone knows Sgt. Slaughter, there is a reason why he chose it as one of his strike vehicles for the G.I. Joe special team he formed, the Marauders. Using the speed and size of the original, the new Armadillo is refitted to make lightning raids on enemy outposts but with the ability to inflict more damage.

Features

The Marauders' Armadillo uses the same chassis as the original. As such, it has the same engine capabilities, all-weather track treads, and a rear-end one-man carrier. In place of the original four-turret cannon, LA-44 missile launchers armed with six high-impact XXX-010 missiles launchers have been attached to the sides. Other improvements include a computer-operated radar and communications system, a digital actuator and targeting mechanism for long-range attacks.
