Example of poor quality animation (character and vehicle).
Animation and Technical Errors[]
- The animation quality is worse than DiC standard in the season so far (character models, vehicles, environments, and characters' mouths not moving with the dialogue).
- During some scenes, lines of dots run up and down the right side of the screen.
- Lady Jaye's gloves change colors during the scenes inside the General.
- Multiple characters' eyes are missing through the episode.
Continuity Errors[]
- During a broadcast, Cobra's logo is black (with a red mouth) instead of fully red.
- Multiple types of Joe vehicles have no computer systems in them. (Even in the 90s, vehicles had computer systems in them. The first vehicle with a computer system in it was sold in 1968.)
Quotes[]
"This ATM is permanently out of order, hail Cobra."
--BIOK, before shooting the ATM card at the woman trying to use it.
"If you want to be part of the new, improved planet Earth, you better be nice to me."
-- BIOK
"Oh. Oh... You know..."
--BIOK's final words.
"Well. I hope you have a really rotten--"
--BIOK's real final words.
Miscellaneous Trivia[]
- Destro has a robot hawk ready to send off to G.I. Joe to inform them of what's happening when plans go wrong.
- Insults used in this episode: "Brass-headed goon" (Stretcher about Destro), "hunk of electronic garbage" (Skydive to BIOK), "mutated simian freak" (BIOK to Skydive).
Real World References[]
- John Wayne
