Anastasia Cisarovna, Codename: Baroness, started off as a captured mercenary/terrorist character in the Energon Universe G.I. Joe comics from Skybound. But has become one of the founding members of the G.I. JOE INITIATIVE.

The Baroness came from rich parents, was highly trained and got bored, and so used her skill for ill deeds. This lead to her being imprisoned in The Pit. While in The Pit, she and Duke became allies in the fight against Major Bludd and the forces of M.A.R.S. Industries. After the skirmish, she escaped, and her future is unwritten. Apparently in the Energon Universe Special The Baroness joins the new G.I. JOE INITIATIVE.
