Budo A Real American Hero (1988)

Budo was released carded as part of the 1988 series of A Real American Hero toys. He was also sold in 1989 and discontinued domestically in 1990.


Appearance: short-cut black hair; grey shirt with brown vest and wristbands; olive green pants with grey belt and kneepads; hook on waist for sword; brown boots

Accessories: red and silver samurai helmet with grey crest; silver sai with ring on end of hilt; curved silver sword with ring on side of hilt; red sword with long hilt and angled tip.

Trivia[]

  • Working names: Katana, Daito,[1] and Slasher.
  • A third figure of Budo was planned for 1995's "Ninja Commandos" series, but the entire line was cancelled before he could be released. The entire mold, however, was used for the Mortal Kombat movie edition Shang Tsung in 1995.
