The Eco-Warriors subset was introduced in 1991 to cash in on the big trend of environmentalism. Both Joe and Cobra forces were released under the banner, sold individually carded for an SRP of $4.99.

The figures all had a color-changing action feature: parts of their uniforms changed color when exposed to warm water, and most figures had some sort of water-squirting accessory.
