DIC Entertainment, stylized as DiC in their logo, is a film and television production company that began in 1971. It is often associated with children's programming but their large body of works reveals more than that. The company is originally from Luxembourg, but has since made the United States its main base of operations.
When Sunbow Productions lost the animation rights to the G.I. Joe franchise, it was DIC that picked it up two years later with the Operation: Dragonfire miniseries, then a second cartoon series.
