The Dominator is an Iron Grenadier vehicle from the A Real American Hero series.

The Dominator is two vehicles in one. As a tank, it in itself is already a formidable weapon. If in case you are able to somehow disable its tank treads or run it into a corner, it will surprise you by a quick transformation into a gunship helicopter. It certainly brings new meaning to the words "who has the upper hand?" The vehicle weighs 28 tons and has a maximum range of 400 miles in it's tank mode, and 120 miles in its copter mode. It's maximum speed is 60 mph as a tank and 90 mph as a copter.

Thanks to computer guidance and ingenious engineering, the Dominator's rotor blades can deploy and extend with a minimum of time to allow its transformation into a helicopter. The unit is armed with several missiles that can just as easily change their role from anti-tank to air-to-air ordnance. A 3.5mm multi-shot missile pod supplements the rest of the weaponry.

A Real American Hero (1990) The Dominator is the last known Iron Grenadier vehicle to come out of the original A Real American Hero run. It's also the only one to not ever have included a driver. |
