A Greenshirt used a FLAK when Cobra raided a G.I. Joe airbase to destroy the Skystrikers there.
The FLAK as it was depicted in the Sunbow A Real American Hero animated continuity.
Some were also seen, but not used, at the end of season 1 episode "The Viper is Coming".

The F.L.A.K. was one of the first vehicles released in the A Real American Hero line. The cannon could be elevated or swiveled, and featured folding stabilizers.
- A Real American Hero 25th Anniversary
In 2009, the F.L.A.K. was released in a multi-pack with a red redeco of the C.L.A.W. glider. The set also included Outback and an Air Viper Commando.
