Unbeknownst to Destro's clients, the D.E.M.O.N. tank vehicle is not exactly what it appears to be. Underneath that fancy looking war machine, much was sacrificed for speed, range and weaponry. Except for the driver, any other crew member is exposed and unprotected from enemy fire. It, therefore, falls to the Ferret to not only make the D.E.M.O.N. look like one of the meanest machines to roll on the battlefield but to make it function as such. The kind of men that make up the Ferret ranks tend to have very positive attitude. They have to be, they can't be bothered to remember the limitations of the vehicle they are driving.

Generation 1
Ferret 1988 A Real American Hero (1988)

The only Ferret action figure made was sold with the D.E.M.O.N. tank as part of the A Real American Hero 1988 vehicle lineup.

Appearance: gold helmet; red face mask with black visor; black shirt with gold vest and red stripes; beige pants with gold belt and red waist

Accessories: none. page/Filecard

  • In the television commercials for the D.E.M.O.N. tank, the Ferret shown driving it was made up of many re-used parts and looked nothing like the final figure. One of the most notable differences was that his head was Battle Armor Cobra Commander's helmet painted gold, which for some time led to the rumor of a golden Cobra Commander.
