Wallace Weems participated in a HALO mission led by Conrad Hauser. When Hauser got stuck in a tree, Weems helped him down - the fast way.
When the mission turns out to be bigger than the team thought, Hauser gets nervous, thinking about an op that went wrong in the past, and how it cost him a good friend, Wallace reassures the man and keeps him on-mission.
While the rest of the team creates a diversion, "Weemsie" makes a move for the door of their target - a simple trailer loaded with computers - and takes a round in the chest as the big Russian inside defends his position. Luckily his bulletproof vest stopped the bullet, but he still had a cracked rib and a bruised lung, and was out of the rest of the fight.[1]
Rise of Cobra (2009 Movie)[]

In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen has created a nanotechnology capable of destroying an entire city. He sells four nanomite warheads to NATO, and the U.S. Army is tasked with delivering the warheads.
Snake Eyes holds Ripcord at sword-point.
Duke and Ripcord are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness and several Cobra Vipers. In the ensuing firefight, many of Duke and Ripcord's teammates are killed or severely wounded, and both of their AH-64 Apache gunships are destroyed, along with all of their ground vehicles. Before Duke and Ripcord meet a similar fate, they are rescued by Scarlett, Snake-Eyes and Heavy Duty. The two are a bit confused by the group's intentions at first, as Snake Eyes holds Ripcord at sword-point, but they eventually realize that they aren't hostiles. They take the warheads to General Hawk, head of the G.I. Joe team, at their headquarters, The Pit, in Egypt.
Ripcord doesn't get off to a good start with Scarlett
Hawk takes command of the warheads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, but when Duke reveals that he knows the Baroness, Hawk allows them to train to join G.I. Joe. Ripcord soon develops a crush on Scarlett, though she initially ignores him, telling him that she does not believe in emotions because they cannot be quantified or proven to exist. When McCullen locates the G.I. Joe base, he sends Storm Shadow, the Baroness and Zartan with the enhanced Neo-Vipers to retrieve the warheads. After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron Daniel DeCobray, the Baroness's husband, for him to weaponize.
Ripcord comforts Scarlett after her loss to the Baroness and saves her in Paris after the Baroness blows her off her motorcycle.
G.I. Joe track down the Baroness and Storm Shadow and pursue them through the streets of Paris, but are unsuccessful in stopping them launching a missile loaded with the nanomites at the Eiffel Tower. The nanomites eat through part of the tower before Duke hits the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen's base under the Arctic Circle, while the rest of the Joes are arrested by French authorities, believing them to be the ones who damaged the Eiffel Tower.
Ripcord gets arrested on the White House lawn.
McCullen loads three missiles with nanomite warheads. Ripcord pursues the missiles while Scarlett and Snake Eyes rescue Duke. Before leaving, Scarlett kisses him before he steals the prototype Cobra Night Raven to stop the two missiles headed for Moscow and Washington D.C. Ripcord takes off in the jet, and destroys the second missile before it reaches Moscow. He then pursues the third warhead, ultimately taking it into the atmosphere where it explodes harmlessly away from the Earth. He ejects and lands in Washington DC, where he is arrested by the Secret Service for trespassing at the White House, them being unaware of his actions.
In the end, after a successful mission, he and Duke decide to stay on the team. As they board a jet for their next mission, Operation Moongoose, General Hawk wishes them luck.
Personality and Abilities[]
Ripcord was a cheerful and optimistic man who often told jokes and was loyal to his friends. His closest friend was Duke, and they seemed to be as close as brothers. However Ripcord also appeared to be both a showoff and a flirt and developed a crush on Scarlett. He did his best to impress her. Though she ignored him at first, she eventually started to return his feelings. Rip has also been shown to be good at comforting people and managed to make Scarlett feel better about her loss to the Baroness.
Ripcord also seemed to be freaked out by Snake Eyes.
Ripcord was an excellent pilot and claimed that he could fly anything. Although serving as a member of a ground troop, he had long aspired to fly in the military. He managed to shoot down two missiles headed towards Moscow and Washington, even though he was in an aircraft he'd never even seen before. According to General Hawk he was also an expert marksman and managed to get 99% in his shooting tests.
