In 2010, IDW began publishing a continuance of the Real American Hero continuity previously published by Marvel Comics, with Larry Hama returning as the series' writer. The revival picked up with issue #155½ as an homage to the previous Marvel series. IDW did not acknowledge the events of the Devil's Due series that similarly grew the Marvel continuity, before completing publication (as America's Elite) in June of 2008.
The IDW run of the series concluded in November of 2022, with the loss of the Hasbro license to Skybound Entertainment, which picked up the continuity with issue #301, continuing with Hama as writer.
