G.I. Joe: Origins was a comic series published by IDW Publishing, debuting in February 2009. Many issues were penned by G.I. Joe comic legend Larry Hama (who was initially thought to be the scribe for the main series). This series explored the formation of the Joe Team and the personalities that made up that roster of operators.[1]
