General Blitz is the Supreme Commander of the I.R.O.N. Army. He was a lieutenant in the US Army back in WWII, but betrayed his unit and country and defected to the Third Reich for the sake of his unethical experiments.

Bio[]

In World War II, Lt. Garrison "Blitz" Kreiger was a scientist serving as a junior officer within Sgt. Savage's unit (it is normal practice for Second Lieutenants - who out-rank NCOs - to follow the instructions of an experienced Sergeant), until he betrayed his own unit, by leading them into an ambush. Most of his men where slaughtered, and the survivors became guinea pigs in his experiments, to produce super-soldiers for the Third Rich. The only known survivor of these experiments was Sgt. Savage. At some point, Savage was place in cryogenics for 50 years until the bunker he was stored in was uncovered. Savage now possesses super strength and increased reflexes. Through these experiments, he was able to build an army of genetically-modified super-soldiers, and placed them under cryogenics.

The time between the experiments and his appearance in the 90s is vague.
