The International Robotic Operations Network (aka the I.R.O.N. Army) is a recently created force, created by cybernetic and robotics engineer, geneticist, and WWII veteran turned traitor Garrison "General Blitz" Kreiger. The I.R.O.N. Army is made-up of Cyborg soldiers of former NAZI stormtroopers. Their goal is to build a master race, for the sake of global domination. Their primary opponent is a sub-group of G.I.Joe, called the Screaming Eagles. They have been in contact with Cobra, but is not known if they have an alliance, or was absorbed into their legion.
Being relatively new, they are not that large, and lack variety in their ranks:
General Blitz: Supreme Commander of the I.R.O.N. Army. He was a lieutenant in the US Army back in WWII, but betrayed his unit and his country to the Third Reich for the sake of his unethical experiments. In the 90s, he posed as a scientist named Dr. Garret Stromm, and was building an advanced space platform in order to control every computer system on earth.
I.R.O.N. Stormtrooper: Heavily modified super-soldiers from WWII, who are well-trained, highly skilled, and will-equipped.
Arctic Stormtroopers: A variation of I.R.O.N. Stormtroopers, who are trained and equipped for arctic operations.
I.R.O.N. Anvil (not to be confused with the Iron Grenadiers of the same name): I.R.O.N. Army vehicle operators, artillery experts and apparently, the only non-cyborg enemies.
