- The L.C.V. is a G.I. Joe vehicle from the A Real American Hero series.
One of the key components to a successful military mission is intelligence gathering. One way to gather intelligence is through reconnaissance. G.I. Joe has many means of performing recon missions and one of those is the use of the L.C.V (Low Crawl Vehicle) Recon Sled.

L.C.V. Recon Sleds, along with A.W.E. Strikers, were used by G.I. Joe to defend Napoleon's tomb from Cobra forces after the Mayor of Paris forbid the Joes to use their Mauler tanks. The Recon Sleds were also briefly seen escorting HAVOCs in Egypt during a mission to protect Xanoth Amon-Toth's tomb.[1]
