A Mobile Missile System was deployed as part of the outer ring of defense protecting a space shuttle launch. It was towed by Steeler and Grunt in a M.O.B.A.T. When a large force of S.E.A. Legs and amphibious assault guns emerged from the ocean, Steeler ordered Grunt to get the M.M.S. ready, but it was blown up before he got a chance.[1]
Deep Six used an M.M.S. on the deck of the G.I. Jane to shoot down a Rattler. [2]

- The M.M.S. was released in 1982 as part of the vehicle lineup of the A Real American Hero series. It included a Colonel Hawk action figure.
Re-uses/re-makes[]
- 1985—A recolored M.M.S. was included with a recolored H.I.S.S. as the Sears-exclusive S.M.S.
- 2009—A recolored M.M.S. was released as the Rise of Cobra Heatsink Missile.

- Despite being based on Raytheon MIM-23 Hawk Missiles, the toy's blueprints call them Patriot missiles and an Impel trading card calls them Harpoons.
