Monstro-Vipers were once Cobra Range-Vipers until Cobra Commander ordered their participation in Dr. Mindbenders DNA alteration experiments. These volunteers were bio-genetically crossed with rabid werewolves, giant "Bigfoots" and the most gruesome Grizzly bears. Transformed into 1/4 mand 3/4 monster making them the most brutal battle beasts known with control being only accomplished through the use of implanted computer processors. Their sense of smell is also keen enough to allow them to stalk G. I. Joes across miles.
