Neil Uyetake is from Los Angeles and was the Art Director for IDW Publishing, a position he started in 2005. Before entering the comics industry, he worked as a graphic designer and art director in the corporate world. He letters a large number of comics series for IDW, including their Star Trek and Transformers lines.
Recently (circa 2024), Neil Uyetake has lettered Star Wars comics for Dark Horse.
