The organisms of Cobra-La were biological creations used by the armed forces, and civilians, of the Cobra-La people. They fit into three categories: close quarter combat tools, transportation, and defensive/offensive weaponry.
The first type Ones were used by Pythona to infiltrate the Terror Drome and incapacitate numerous Cobra personnel when she infiltrated the Terror Drome. Nemesis Enforcer also used them on two occasions against Sgt. Slaughter. One of which was a octopus like mini-submersible that may or may not have also been used to rendezvous with the Dreadnoks after Zarana recorded the security of a G.I. Joe stockade. The second, which looked like a basketball chopped in half, was used by Pythona on a Crimson Guardsman, while Nemesis Enforcer used it during the rescue of Lt. Falcon. The third was a starfish shaped throwing-star that Nemesis Enforcer also used on another rifle Sgt. Slaughter held.
The next, and most dangerous of all, were a Type Three: hundreds of organic missile launch systems that were planted around the perimeter of the Cobra-la dome, which Roadblock dismissed as "redwood toadstools". They were dubbed Funguzoids by Golobulus, and as presumably passed on to Flint by Cobra Commander, the "warhead" of every one of them "contained a degenerative spore".
The next Type Two: A combination of tree and clam that Cobra Commander was imprisoned within during his trial. It was later inadvertently killed by Pythona while she fought Jinx in the final battle.
The 6 Joes under Roadblock's command, and later every other Joe except the Rawhides, Duke, Flint, Iceberg, and Lifeline, would later fall victim to several Type Threes that the original screenplay, and later the baroness, called a Carno-tree. They resembled an earwig's thorax, and had vines that were thin, yet strong enough to lift a human dozens of feet in the air before holding them against their trunks, They were later destroyed when Big Lob's commandeered Swampfire crashed into them just before he left behind a live grenade.
A recording of Earth 40,000 years prior to 1987 shown to Cobra's main operatives during their former leader's trial featured a green insectoid acting like a oceanic craft being capsized by an iceberg emerging from underneath. It's exact dimensions, and whether it was civilian or military, is unknown.
Type Three: several giant slug/snake creatures requested by Serpentor during the attack on the civilian security lab, which he referred to as Armored Borers in the original screenplay.
Varying between Types Two and Three: 1. three giant floating grubs, dozens of fighter-sized orange and gray craft, and one transport as large as the grubs that resembled a cross between a moth and a manta ray. The latter two types were used to steal the BET along with the previously mentioned slug/snakes.
2. An army of variously sized organisms awakened as the last-ditch effort to defend Cobra-La to the death. The first resembling a stick insect that served primarily as a Cable-Stayed Bridge. Roadblock's fellow escapees unknowingly crossed over just before encountering the Carno-trees. It awoke after Mercer and Red Dog used it as well, but before Tunnel Rat was able to join them.
3. A pair of staircases leading to the courtyard of the Cobra-la palace, which were revealed to be the osteoderms of two saber toothed reptiles. A bulb shaped spider organism was placed inbetween them for a presumably decorative purpose.
4. An enormous mantis serving as a Beam Bridge, which Sgt. Slaughter rendered unconscious with his rifle when it malfunctioned.
5. Caterpillars that were slightly larger than humans, one that Sgt. Slaughter kicks away, and a second that Lt. Falcon shoots the head off of. Sea cucumber like creatures, one of which Tunnel Rat fell into while backing away from the CSB organism, and three more that had Chuckles cornered while Hawk, two Rawhides, Sgt. Slaughter, and Cobra Commander were climbing to the palace, although Chuckles escaped from them offscreen.
6. A much larger caterpillar organism was killed offscreen by General Hawk.
7. Two more conventionally shaped organisms resembling Banana Spiders, which served as the final defensive line for the Palace, which Sgt. Slaughter, Falcon, and Jinx got past while Hawk stalled them.
8. Countless more of the 7 above examples were later destroyed when the BET was overloaded by Falcon.
