- The Pogo is a Cobra vehicle from the A Real American Hero series.
The Pogo Ballistic Battle Ball was a brainchild of Fred VII. It has no real world counterpart and is in a class of its own. It is basically an armored cockpit strapped to powerful rocket booster and a very strong suspension that doubles as a giant jumping spring. Its purpose is for ground targeting offensive in difficult terrain. The Pogo weighs 3.8 tons and has a maximum range of 105 miles. It has a maximum cruising speed of 30 mph and is capable of reaching 85 mph in sprints.

The Cobra Pogo can fly like rocket for several moments. It also capable of maneuvering in the air. When lands it use its state-of-the-art articulators for landing, absorb the impact energy in the process and changing it into powerful thrust for jumping (fitting the name "Pogo"). In early development, it sported a multi-directional machine gun turret. The subsequent version is also capable of mounting missiles. It is a difficult contraption to master, but offers extreme maneuverability for combat survival.
