Richard Starkings is a British comics letterer and editor. He served as the editor of the Marvel UK weekly title Action Force as well as lettering many of the UK originated stories. He also briefly served as designer for the Action Force Annual 1989. Later he went on to found the Comicraft lettering company which was an early pioneer of computer based lettering. He briefly returned to the world of G.I. Joe in 1993 when he was lettering the Transformers: Generation 2 comic which contained a crossover with G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.
