First published in 2017, Scarlett's Strike Force could be considered the last new series of the original IDW comics continuity. Written by Aubrey Sitterson, the series follows the latest iteration of the G.I. Joe team, the eight-member Strike Force (commanded by Scarlett), as it deals with a newly-emerged Cobra. It had an intended eight-issue run, but was canceled after the third in February 2018.
