This type of Cobra trooper exists only as a reference on the Motor Viper file card. It is unclear if it is a generic reference to Cobra sea troops or a reference to a specific Cobra designation. The existence of Air-Vipers as unspecialized Cobra pilots lends some support to the latter interpretation. It is noted in the card that the troops are paid at a generic rate, as opposed to E.E.L.S and Lampreys which are assumed to be higher grade special purpose troops.
