Trivia[]
- It was one of 4Kids' original productions, the other was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 TV series.
- Even though the series was animated in Japan, it has yet to air there.
- In the later re-airings, 4Kids did some last minute editing, removing anything relating to the name "G.I. Joe," including the intro, calling it just "Sigma 6." They did that to remove it from the G.I. Joe continuity altogether, after the release of First Strike, stating that the Joes in Sigma 6 are not the same Joes we know in the continuity.
