Simon Christopher Francis Furman is a British comics writer and editor. He wrote several strips for the Marvel UK weekly title Action Force as well as Action Force Monthly.
He is best known for his work on successive comic incarnations of Transformers, including writing for and editing the Marvel UK Transformers comic (albeit uncredited and under the pseudonym of "Chris Francis") at the time it ran the "Ancient Relics!" crossover with Action Force and he briefly returned to the world of G.I. Joe in 1993 when he was writing the Transformers: Generation 2 comic which contained a crossover with G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.
