For a list of the other versions, see Skull Buster.
- Skull Buster is a Cobra character from the A Real American Hero and G.I. Joe vs. Cobra series.
Range-Vipers were already mean-spirited and tough, but the one who would be known as Skull Buster was the meanest and the toughest. He relished the hard life of a wilderness survivalist, eating anything that offered enough protein to be worth killing; though he would be willing to dine on carrion, he'd be more likely to kill and eat the scavengers that came to claim it. He imagined himself the ultimate predator.

- Note: although Skull Buster did not appear as a named character in the Marvel comics, Range-Vipers did. He may have been behind one of those masks at any time. See Range-Viper Appearances for examples of what he might have been involved in.
Devil's Due Comics continuity[]
Skull Buster decided to leave Cobra behind, and went to hide out in Namibia, along the Skeleton Coast. When World War III began, Shipwreck and Cover Girl were sent to apprehend him. When their ship sank and they washed up on shore, he kidnapped Cover Girl to use as bait for the other Joe. Shipwreck tracked them successfully, and a fight broke out. Skull Buster was getting the better of the sailor, but Cover Girl distracted him, and Shipwreck used a scorpion's sting to temporarily paralyze Skull Buster. He begged the Joes to leave him to die in the desert, because for him, that was preferable to being imprisoned. Naturally, they refused.[1]
He was held in the maximum security prison called "The Coffin," located in Greenland,[2] and was one of several operatives who escaped during a raid.[3]
