Slip-Stream headed a successful air strike on a Cobra base on Grave Island in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.[1] He was then part of a training mission in Norway that was attacked by Rattlers and a Night Raven. All the Cobra planes were shot down but it was unclear which Joe got the kill on the Night Raven.[2]

Slip-Stream is first seen watching a football game on tv before being told off by Gen. Hawk.
Sometime later, he and a female Strato-Viper shoot each other down over a seemingly deserted island, only to find that it was a lab belonging to Dr. Mindbender, who still has the Cobra base and the escaped mutation within under surveillance.

Trivia[]
- Slip-Stream's filecard reveals he speaks Armenian. Since "Boyajian" is an Armenian surname, he likely learned it at home, suggesting either his parents or grandparents are immigrants.
- His uniform and those of a few un-named Conquest pilots are brown, but those worn in "Not a Ghost of a Chance" are blue.
