Plot[]
With Cobra's synthoids in place and their operating budget severely slashed, the Joes initially are unable to figure out why their importance has dwindled with the United States military until they receive a visit from Destro, who informs them of Cobra's plot and the synthoids. During an early demonstration of the technology, Cobra Commander and Zartan had created a synthoid of Destro, infuriating him when the Commander suggests that the false Destro is more obedient. Feeling betrayed and vengeful, Destro aids the Joes in raiding their supply depot.

Animation and Technical Errors[]
- An animation cell overlay error mixes up the depth in a shot featuring Destro, Scarlett, and the synthoid Duke.
- In the big Joe Team group shot at the end of the episode, Barbecue's suit is miscolored.
- When Ace and Airborne are filling up Ace's Skystriker with fuel, a quick shot shows Airborne attired in his sky-blue jumpsuit with gray helmet and orange trim. After a quick cutaway Airborne's uniform is now colored like his action figure (tan jumpsuit, blue vest, brown helmet).
