- Thunder is a G.I. Joe character from the A Real American Hero series.
While most people can't stand loud noises, Thunder is inexplicably drawn to them. As a child, he grew up next to a foundry and somehow inculcated his fondness for loud noises. His hobbies and interests included heavy metal music and cars with bad mufflers. It should come as no surprise that when he signed up in the Army he chose artillery as his military vocation.

- The only Thunder action figure to be produced was released as part of A Real American Hero's 1984 release. He was packaged with the Slugger artillery vehicle.
