In his attempt to escape from Cobra, Duke used one of the Viper gliders. Doing so, he is pursued by several Troopers also flying in Vipers. When the Joes make their final assault on the Cobra Temple, Cobra dispatches Viper gliders which quickly proved ineffective against the elite team.
